Social skills training included eight main topics - perceptual subjectivity, nonverbal communication, verbal communication, assortment (effective communication), the meaning of conflict and ways of solving, leadership and teamwork (conflict management) and branding / presentation. Beneficiaries of all three regions of the first phase will gather together in September with a one-day excursion where they will discuss common topics and arrange intellectual competitions based on the training themes.
The project “Enabling Georgia’s Most Vulnerable Youth to Become Productive, Contributing Adult Citizens Through Mentoring, Training and Employment” (implemented in Kakheti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Shida Kartli) is being implemented by CHCA through the financial support of the EU through co-applicants Society "Biliki" (Gori) and "Divine Child Foundation of Georgia” (Mtskheta). The goal of the project is to strengthen the adolescents in small group homes and foster care through various trainings, vocational courses, employment and also prepare them for an independent life.
