The members of the Network "Pro-integration" and the representatives of the civil sector working on IDP issues were gathered in Borjomi for the two-day seminar.
The event was held within the framework of the project "Towards a Fairer Society” that is implemented in eastern and western Georgia by the center "Abkhazeti" and Consortium “Legal Aid Georgia” (LAG) with the financial support of the Civil Society Development Fund (CISU) and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in partnership. The goal of the project is to raise awareness of IDP communities, develop their skills and engagement, which, in turn, facilitates successful advocacy processes.

At the meeting participants discussed and evaluated unresolved problems of the IDP community and evaluated the ways of their solution and discussed future advocacy campaigns. In February 2018, the donor organization of the project will announce small grants competition in order to solve the problems existing in IDP community.
At the meeting the center “Abkhazeti” presented the survey made by the organization “Study the dependence of IDPs in relation to the possible alternatives of the IDP allowances" to the members and potential members of the network "Pro-integration".
