Interest-Free Loans Committee Miting
On December 27, the Interest-Free Loan Committee considered 40 business proposals from entrepreneurs living in Samegrelo and Shida Kartli. Among them, the authors of 26 business proposals received a 2,500-5,000 GEL interest-free loan for their business development.

Phatman Khvingia’s Story
Guest House in Zugdidi
Phatman Khvingia has been involved in the guest house business for five years. In September 2019, he received an interest-free loan of 4,000 GEL and used the money to refurbish the bathrooms. The guest house is located in the center of the city, close to the Botanical Garden and boasts an abundance of clients throughout the season. In addition to standard rooms, the hotel provides one luxury room for long-term customers. Currently, Phatman Khvingia continues to operate successfully and offers high quality service to the city's guests.

CHCA is USAID Zrda’s partner in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti and Shida Kartli regions. Within the project micro, small and medium-sized business owners living in Across of the Border Lane are able to receive interest-free loans up to 5,000 GEL.
