On December 30, 2021, within the framework of the project "Support for Energy Efficient Approaches in Social Service Providers", a meeting was held with the Head of Economic Policy and Municipal Services of Zugdidi Municipality, Irakli Chkadua, Chief Specialist of the Service, Shorena Cherkesia and with the Member of Zugdidi Municipality - Sandro Sordia.
 
During the visit, the project coordinator and the regional mobilizer of the community informed the representatives of the Municipality and the City Council about the activities implemented and planned in the region within the project and discussed the possibilities of cooperation. For the purposes of the project, the urgency of promoting energy efficiency and access to renewable energy was highlighted.
 
The meeting paid special attention to the program to support the development of the municipal houseowners' partnership, the existing co-financing opportunities and the conditions for their participation.
 
The project "Support for Energy Efficient Approaches in Social Service Providers" is being implemented in three regions of Georgia.
 
The project is funded by the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Program (GEF SGP) implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Georgia.
