Social Services Needs and Efficacy Survey

CHCA will conduct a pilot survey in Zugdidi and Kutaisi, in which 1000 respondents will be selected by door-to-door random sampling. This research is part of a larger study also being conducted by ASB Georgia and Kakheti Regional Development Fund.

CHCA's Head of Social Programs, Qeti Qimosteli noted "The questionnaire is comprehensive, and covers social and economic issues. The survey will evaluate the effectiveness of existing social services and at the same time, identify potential new services which are needed. We will start the research on August 1, and we will present the results at the CCC Network meeting for the network member organizations in September. This stage is a pilot study, and as part of the project, we are planning a large-scale study which we will start in October and present the results to the public in January 2021."

On July 20, an expert researcher chaired a working meeting to discuss project tools and implementation. The expert taught the participants how to use the research tools and the SurveyMonkey research platform. The group also outlined the fieldwork and delegation at the meeting.

The European Union in Georgia funds the Partnership for Inclusive Policy Making Project, and ASB Georgia, CHCA, and the Kakheti Regional Development Fund are the implementing partners.
