Alu Gamakharia is the Founder and Chair of the Board of the Association “Peaceful and Business Caucasus” (PBC). Since 2007, he has served as Director of LLC “Orgtechnika-Sokhumi” and brings extensive managerial and industrial experience. From 2014 to 2021, he headed the LEPL “Business Incubator” and also led the Kutaisi office of the Caucasus Network for Business and Development.

Alu Gamakharia is actively engaged in public initiatives and people-to-people diplomacy, participating in Georgian-Abkhaz and Georgian-Ossetian dialogue formats. He is the author of the handbook “How to Start and Manage Your Own Business” and a trainer in entrepreneurship, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding. He has been awarded the honorary title of “Ambassador for Peace.” He holds a degree in Engineering Economics from the Moscow State Institute of Engineering and Economics (currently the State University of Management), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
