Peace and Confidence Building
Protection monitoring of persons living within the occupied territories of Georgia, IDPs and conflict-affected local populations, identifying their special needs and providing tailor-made assistance.
Strategy:
Providing urgent medical humanitarian assistance to citizens living within the occupied territories of Georgia. Identifying the medically ill patients and ensuring their safe transportation and efficient treatment with the involvement of NGOs and governmental structures. Identification of the special needs of IDPs and “Buffer Zone” populations and providing them with urgent assistance. Involving them in various programs run by international, local or governmental organizations.

The project aims to empower women in both educational and economic ways, that will lead to their economic stability and better civic engagement. It also aspires to promote women leadership, networking, and transfer of skills through mentorship.
Increase access to livelihoods for conflict-affected and vulnerable young women and ensure socio-economic integration
Strengthening cultural and educational relations between conflict-divided communities; Facilitate the vocational education of young people living in Abkhazia.

Humanitarian medical treatment for ill people from Abkhazia and South Ossetia; To provide urgent medical examinations and treatments.
To increase the skills and knowledge of the women in daily crisis management, anxiety and fatigue caused by the social distancing and remote work
To train 8 young, motivated and skilful women from Gal(i) for creating solid ground for launching handicraft studio in there as an intermediate between Zugdidi and Sukhum(i).

Project goal: to build confidence and trust between women living in Abkhazia and TAT who are seeking economic improvement through the intersection of art and commerce.
To support the socialization of Georgian-Ossetian mixed families; to reduce the isolation of elderly people, through promoting craft activities; and to strengthen partnerships among Georgian and Ossetian organizations.
To increase access to the Georgian commodity market for small entrepreneurs from Abkhazia and secure sustainable business connections.
