Eka Gvalia is the Head of Programme of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) Moldova Office. From 2016 to 2026, Eka worked on leading positions in the offices of the Norwegian Refugee Council Moldova and the Danish Refugee Council Ukraine to assist the war-affected population in Ukraine. Eka has received the Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize for her humanitarian service at the Norwegian Refugee Council and the Ukrainian Government Award for her contribution to the assistance of Ukrainian refugees. Eka holds a Master's degree in Humanitarian Aid from the University of Geneva and speaks 4 foreign languages.
