A seminar on Leave No One Behind (LNOB) was held for social organizations, community leaders and community activists operating in the municipalities of Gori, Tetritskaro and Ambrolauri.
After the presentation of the project “Building Inclusion of Vulnerable and Special Needs Communities in Georgia”, the main principle of the project “Leave No One Behind” (LNOB) was introduced to the audience. The participants also learned about international experience, practical approaches and tools aimed at effective identification of needs and appropriate response.
This seminar is an important step towards strengthening social policies based on community needs. The knowledge gained and shared experience will help participants increase the involvement of vulnerable groups and better assess their needs at the local level.
As a reminder, the main goal of the project is to strengthen civil society organizations, increase the involvement of CSOs working with vulnerable groups in Georgia in the development and implementation of social policies, programs and services in 10 municipalities of Georgia.
The project "Building Inclusion of Vulnerable and Special Needs Communities in Georgia" is implemented by the Charity Humanitarian Center Abkhazia (CHCA); Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Georgia (ASB Georgia) and the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), with the financial support of the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF).
