The investment offer is intended to attract local and foreign investors to Khoni Municipality for the purpose of establishing a solar power plant. Khoni Municipality is a local self-government unit in the Imereti region, which is actively working to strengthen its economy, create decent sources of employment on the ground, and establish its own economic role in the region and the country. Khoni Municipality Municipality conducted a series of studies aimed at identifying developing economic sectors in the region and assessing their development potential. In 2023, a study conducted by Khoni Municipality revealed that it is possible to construct a solar power plant in 4 different territories in the municipality. 1 of the 4 territories is the property of Khoni Municipality Municipality. Accordingly, the municipality has decided to support the implementation of this project.
