One of the most painful challenges for elderlies is loneliness and social isolation. As people age, their circle of close connections often shrinks, making care, attention and emotional support especially important.
That is why every warm and caring visit is incredibly valuable to our beneficiaries - it gives them extra motivation and joy.
On Valentine’s Day, our shelter welcomed special guests: volunteers from the “Mestumre” project, who celebrated the holiday with our beloved elderly residents.
The volunteers gave the seniors small but heartfelt gifts. For them, the day was enjoyable not only because of the presents but also because of friendly conversation and sincere emotions.
Such visits play a significant role in supporting the emotional well-being of our beneficiaries. Volunteer involvement not only benefits the elderly but also helps build a more humane and compassionate society. Thanks to every participant of “Mestumre”, your visit made our home even warmer and full of love.
The 24-hour Elderly Care Center Project is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.
