The main topic of this week at our Daycare Center for Children with Disabilities was safety.
During the learning process, the children not only heard, but also thoughtfully studied the dangers we may encounter in everyday life - related to transport, fire and electricity. They also learned how to recognize danger, how to behave in such a situation and, most importantly, who to turn to for help.
To consolidate their theoretical knowledge, the children, together with their parents, visited the Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they were hosted by the Zugdidi office of 112.
The visit was particularly impressive for the children! They toured the work space, got acquainted with the technical capabilities and better understood how the system that protects people's safety in critical situations works.
Special thanks to the service team - their empathy, attention and professionalism created an environment where the children felt safe, important and motivated.
Such experiences show us once again that the learning process is most effective when knowledge is combined with practical experience, especially when it comes to the safety and future of children.
