Information meeting in Kurdgelauri

Representatives of the Telavi Crisis Center for Victims of Violence visited the Kurdgelauri Small Family Home, where they held a meeting with the manager and employees of the facility.

During the meeting, the center's representatives provided the participants with comprehensive information on the issues of violence against women and men, domestic violence, and human trafficking. As well as on the state services that are available to victims of these forms of violence.

The aforementioned services include psychological and social support, assistance in organizing and receiving medical services, legal counseling and representation, as well as providing temporary housing and interpreter services if necessary.

The goal of the meeting was to raise awareness on the issues of psychological or physical violence, domestic violence, sexual violence, and trafficking, and to increase awareness about the availability of relevant services.

It was noted that these state services are free of charge for beneficiaries and are available nationwide.
