"Aging in Displacement: Assessing Health Status of Displaced Older Adults in the Republic of Georgia." A study conducted by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Institute for Policy Studies, April 2012. Supported by a grant from the US Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration. This study assesses appropriate and valid measures of physical and mental health status among displaced older adults, measures prevalence of physical and mental health outcomes across different displaced populations, and provides policy makers and program practitioners with measurement tools and evidence to inform improved response to older adults, especially in protracted situations of displacement in urban areas.

"Georgia: EU Country Roadmap for Engagement with Civil Society, 2014-2017" produced by the EU. This report assesses the state of NGOs in Georgia and makes recommendations for activities designed to strengthen dialogue, capacity, and engagement.

"Out of the Margins. Securing a Voice for Internally Displaced People: Lessons from Georgia." Produced by Conciliation Resources, 2009, from the EU. This study documents the experience of a network of NGOs and activists who carried out a European Commission-funded project in 2007-2008 to help raise political participation among displaced people. It discusses problems with different approaches to the political representation of displaced people. Attitudes aong displaced people to conflict resolution, and responses to war in and around South Ossetia in August 2008, are also documented. The study provides insights into the dilemmas of integration and return for the long-term displaced.

"Assessment of IDP Livelihoods in Georgia: Facts and Policies", 2009, written by George Tarkhan-Mouravi with support from the EU, DRC and UNHCR, sums up the situation, as at the beginning of 2009, with regards to internal displacement and related livelihood and vulnerabilities in Georgia, in the wake of the brief war of August 2008. It outlines the challenges perceived at the time for the Government of Georgia, Georgian civil society, international organisations and the donor community.
