CHCA and Swiss Office of International Social Services (SSI) have been in partnership for over 15 years. During this period, we have supported returning migrants in generating livelihoods and income-generating activities, under the framework of the project “Supporting Migrants Returning from Switzerland to Georgia”.
Within the framework of this project, a reintegration support program is still actively underway, one of the current participants of which is Zurab Ghviniashvili, who returned to Georgia from Switzerland in 2025.
Before leaving Ghviniashvili had Georgia, experience Zurab in construction and renovation works. In particular, external and internal plastering and cladding of buildings.
After returning to Georgia, CHCA assessed the beneficiary's professional skills, as well as the sustainability and compatibility of his business plan with the Georgian market model.
After the beneficiary received the highest score in all evaluation criteria, his business plan was presented to the Swiss partners, from which it received a grant of 4,700 Swiss francs. With the money from this grant, CHCA team will purchase a wall-sanding machine and auxiliary equipment for Zurab.
With this machine, the beneficiary will be able to quickly and efficiently provide sanding services, which will be a long-term and stable source of income.
The project is being implemented with the financial support of Swiss Office of Internation Social Services (SSI).
