Meet the family of Tsiala Uchaneishvili from Khobi.

Energy efficiency means more than just lower utility bills—it restores a sense of independence and financial stability.

Meet the family of Tsiala Uchaneishvili from Khobi.

For the Uchaneishvili family, energy efficiency is not merely about saving energy; it represents a significant opportunity to reduce daily expenses and improve their living conditions.

Tsiala is a pensioner. She lives with her daughter—also a pensioner—and her grandchild, who is a person with a disability. Consequently, the family requires a stable and secure living environment. Given their limited income, reducing daily energy-related costs is of particular importance to them.

As part of the project, a solar photovoltaic (PV) system was installed at Tsiala’s home. Before the installation of this 5 kW system, the family spent up to 70 GEL per month on electricity. The new system now fully meets their energy needs, effectively eliminating their electricity bills. As a result, the money saved each month can now be put directly toward meeting their needs.

For a family, generating their own clean energy means much more than just free electricity. It signifies reduced dependence on the central grid, along with the peace of mind that comes from knowing their monthly expenses will remain stable and minimal.
