From Dependency to Self-sufficiency – Innovative, Effective and Scalable Livelihood Solutions for Georgia

Project Objective: The project aims at supporting the economic integration of IDPs and war affected communities by providing sustainable livelihood solution. The project activities will be implemented through the following three components: Livelihoods, Advocacy and Capacity Building
Term: March 2015 – October 2016
Target Region: Mtsketa-Mtianeti (Akhalgori), Imereti (Kutaisi, Tskaltubo), Samegrelo (Zugdidi, Poti), Adjara (batumi)
Results achieved: Created 49 community organizations of IDPs and eco-migrants and raised their awareness on self-advocacy; Organized 25 local and regional meetings and 5 roundtables (per city) for finding solutions for community problems; Conducted 7 advocacy and 5 media campaigns for solving community problems.  
Beneficiaries: IDPs, host and war affected communities and eco migrants
