On December 7, a Round Table Meeting was held in Gori. The theme of the meeting was "Problems and Challenges of IDPs in Gori Municipality". The meeting was attended by active members of CBOs and HOAs, members of local government, as well as members of the civil sector working with IDP communities.  Representatives of IDP living in cottage-type settlements spoke about various problems they have in their communities. And they also gave advises to the audience about possible ways of solving them.

CHCA is implementing the project “Towards a Fairer Society” in the regions of Shida Kartli, Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Kvemo Kartli. The project is funded by the Civil Society Development Fund (CISU) in cooperation with Danish Refugee Council (DRC). The project covers 20 IDP settlements and aims at raising awareness, developing skills and increasing the participation of IDP communities, which in turn leads to successful solutions to various problems in IDP settlements. The project began in March this year and will end in February 2018.
