CHCA has launched a new project

On February 13, a meeting with students was held at Shota Meskhia State Teaching University of Zugdidi. The project staff presented the activities planned within the framework of the project to the interested girls and young women. In February, the young women living in Zugdidi municipality will begin handcraft classes - working on polymer clay and sutage technique. In addition, the beneficiaries of the project will participate in various cultural events and business trainings. At the end of the project, a joint exhibition of the participants’ works will be held.

The meeting was held within the framework of the project “Building Trust at the Intersection of Art and Commerce”, funded by the Black Sea Trust (a project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States). The project is implemented in Zugdidi Municipality, Sukhum/i and neighboring villages. The project will be completed in June of this year.
